Educated in the space of health and science, student Inga Ringdal knows the true importance of pursuing self care and switching off from the external stresses and pressures we so frequently face.

Thankfully, there’s beauty to be found all around us; “My favourite ordinary moment would have to be at the end of the day watching the sunset. I feel like my entire mood changes, it just makes me feel so appreciative of how beautiful the world is around us”

Tell us a little about yourself.

I’m a Uni student studying health science majoring in Nutrition.

What is your favourite ordinary moment?

It would have to at the end of the day watching the sun set. I feel like my entire mood changes when I watch the sunset, it just makes me feel so appreciative of how beautiful the world is around us.

How do you switch off and unwind?

Being at home and spending time with my family, while eating food and watching Netflix I find is the best way for me to switch off.

I also love being by myself and putting my phone away, and just have a little self-love day. So that might include just going for a walk to clear my mind, have a bath, put on a face mask, make my favourite food, watch my favourite tv show and stuff like that!

What does be that girl mean to you ?

To me, I think it means being confident, strong and being true to yourself and what you believe in.

Enjoy the journey and celebrate the Extraordinary.  Watch the full film here.
