My mums 37th birthday is coming up and I want to get her something really special. I've been saving up for a while now, so money isn't much of a problem (well...you know...not like thousands' or anything :P), but I have noo idea what to get her! I'm already taking her out for a small dinner, but I want to get her something she can keep.
Any ideas?
She loves cooking, playing cello, latin american culture, music, food, dancing, earings and vintage clothing.
Your mum sounds so cool. For my mum's birthday my sister and I took her to a high tea, they are really fun. They have a bunch in the city, loads around the Mornington Peninsula. It generally costs around $50 but it is worth it, the food is amazing and it will make her feel special.
But other than that for an actual present I think Jewellery is always a winner, cause it's something she can keep forever. If she loves vintage clothes maybe you could pick her up a nice vintage necklace or something.
If all else fails you could always buy her a nice cookbook, the new masterchef one is due out soon :) Also you could buy her a few dance lessons, my friend did for my birthday. It was an amazing present.
She is really lucky to have a daughter like you, good luck and keep us all posted xo
Awww thanks heaps ezzabezza, your post made me smile :) The high tea and dance lessons sound particularly good! She's always wanted to learn jive haha! Is a high tea like all those little cakes and sandwiches and tea (obviously :P) and little biscuity things? I think she'd like that heaps!
Thank again bub :) x
