Hello lovelies,
I really want to get my top lip peirced (on one side), and I've heard it referred to as the 'Marilyn Peircing'. I think it's a reference to her beauty spot?
But what I want to know is: Does anyone have one? Was it painful? Will there be a scar? Does it get infected easily, considering it's near the mouth? Is it easy to care for? Does it ever get caught on stuff?
It's just an idea though, I'm not about to jump into it or anything :)

I have six+ peircings, and the one that you referred to is called a "monroe" :)
With mouth pericings, it's always a good risk because of the fact its right near the mouth! It will be a lot more sensitive than others, such as my industrial, but it won't hurt too bad unless you have an incredibly low pain tolerance!
When I got my industrial done, I took 1 pain pill 20 minutes before going in and 1 pain pill right after it was done!
The initial peircing does not hurt, but it is very sore and may sting for a small amount of time afterwards <3
If you take it out, the scarring depends on your skin and the person who did it (self-done will scar WAYY more, great professionals less) but its usually very slight or looks like a small dot.
