    Hi Girlies!
I hate the thought that my makeup is bad for my skin, so I've tried using mineral makeup which is meant to be a lot better. I've tried the generic Maybelline mineral foundation and powder, then went on to the Nude by Nature range and Sheer Cover range, however with all of these products I find I end up with orange looking skin, even though I use the palest shades these make up brands come in. Can anyone steer me in the right direction of a makeup brand that wont hurt your skin and actually works for them?
    Thanks :)

I feel exactly the same! I tried the Maybelline mineral foundation and powder and didnt quite like it, especially the smell. Instead I decided to use napoleon foundation stick and camera finish powder, but before putting it on, Id make sure to use the auto pilot primer so that the makeup doesnt seep into the pores. Its not mineral makeup, but it doesnt hurt my skin =) I guess I feel less guilty not using mineral makeup by using the primer hehe.

I had the same problem, I tried 4 including Mabelline. The best one for me was i.d bare minerals.
I loved the idea of using mineral makeup too and used it for months and my skin started to break out. There are some mineral makeups with products that are apparently not so good for skin like talc and bismuth oxy chloride.
Now I just use normal foundation and primer like France x

As beauty legend has it, it was the mid-1970s, in the aftermath of the frenzied Haight-Ashbury love-ins of San Francisco, that a quiet, little cosmetic revolution was born.

It was called "mineral makeup" – products made of all natural, finely ground minerals from the earth, without any of the chemicals, dyes, and preservatives found in traditional makeup. Fast-forward some 30 years: Mineral makeup is virtually exploding the beauty market.
