DOC MARTENS...

    Hello ladies,

At the begining I wasn't so sure about combat boots and Docs, they seemed a bit too edgy/punk for me. But as time has progressed they have risen to one of the top 5 things on my wishlist (this list also includes Daisy perfume, endless supply of B&Js ice-cream, the perfect LBD and a monkey :P). But I can't find a good pair anywhere!!!
So...what I am trying to say is- where can I find a good, not too pricey, stylish and totally awesome pair of Docs!? Or any kind of the Doc Marteny type of boot...

Oooh! And what colour do you guys think I should get!?

Look forwad to any replies, x

    Hello,

I know me too, I wasn't so sure about the whole Doc Marten look, but now I am absolutely obsessed. I'm not to sure where you can get a pair of original Doc's, but you can get some similar looking ones from shoe stores such as Shoe Box or Whittner shoe stores. Roc have released a pair of boots called "territory boots", they are gorgeous, and I bought them from shoe box for $150.

As for colour.. You can't go wrong with black!!

    Hope this helped.

I don't really consider Docs a trend at all. Combat boots like that have always been a staple for me, but I guess the whole 90's thing really did get massive last year. (Thank you Alexander Wang.)

You shouldn't have any trouble finding a decent pair of combat boots, as they're pretty much everywhere right now. If all else fails, try eBay, and if you want vegan ones, Spendless has some pleather ones for $60 I believe.

Hey dance_like_me off the topic question, but do you know where you are able to buy B&J's ice-cream at all? haha I love it but can't find it anywhere.
Oh and i love Military boots too, not so much the really heavy looking ones. More the kind that Rachel Bilson wears....that girls wardrobe rocks my socks off :)

ezzabezza- I buy my B&Js from Maloneys Grocer. It's close and they have three of my favourite flavours!! I LOVE THAT ICE-CREAM!!!

I would really love a pair. They're just such classic item to have.
I saw an advertisement that they have now produced Hello Kitty style Doc Martens, fairly cute but I wouldn't wear them.
