Hello lovelies,

Two words...school photos *groan* Yes, they are coming up for my school and I want this years to be completely perfect! If that's possible...
So...the ever important question is: How should I do my hair?
I don't want to end up with the bald look or the 'my head has been taken over by my hair' look, so what can I do!?
And for the entertainment factor: What has been your worst school photo moment? Personally, mine was when I decided to cut my own fringe in year 4. Lesson learnt. Only hairdressers go near my head with scissors now :)

Ah, yes. I remember this dilemma well. I agonised over what to do in my Year 12 photo. I went for an updo, figuring that it would look more polished and neat and that is how I'd like to remember my 'high-school' self, but now (I'm at uni) I kind of regret it because I almost NEVER wore my hair up when I was 17.

So, if I could go back in time, I would leave it down and let the photographer capture me as I really was. The point of this rant is: Do what you normally do with your hair! How do you normally wear it? What makes you feel most like yourself? And that's what I'd go with...

Embarassing photo moments = the classic gap-toothed smile with pig-tails taken in Year 2. (I was missing both my front teeth). I think it's kind of cute, now, but, man, I used to hate that photo when I was younger! Mum had it on display *shudder*

Good luck. Remember to powder your nose just before they take the pic to minimize shine caused by the flash! (I just like saying "powder your nose" it makes me think of 1920's flappers)
