Hello ladies,
Recently in English we've done a really good section on The Media. Basically talking about how they're influencing young women with a false impression of 'beauty' (Skinny, blemish free, preferably white and blonde, young...you get the picture) and also the exploitation of women. Some of you may shake your heads and say "What exploitation? What false impressions!?" but check out http://www.about-face.org/ and that will DEFINATELY change your opinion (look at the 'gallery of offenders').
This is a subject that i'm extremely passionate about (as you might have guessed)and I hope to be one of the people who change this in the future!
I'd love to know what your ladies opinions are on this subject. :)

- Thanks for the link to a truly excellent website. This is such an important subject and advertisers ought to take note. I find the sexualisation of young girls - children - particularly disturbing. Not to mention the so-called "sexy" images of women which subtly hint at rape and violence.
