Hello ladies,
I was walking through Surry Hills the other day and I saw a woman wearing a plain, dark blue dress that went to just above the knee and on top of that she was wearing a white lace crop top singlet with thickish straps. She was also wearing ankle boots and an over the shoulder bag.
Incidentally I saw ANOTHER woman wearing a similar outfit in Bondi.
Do you think this style will catch on? I'm not quite sure abot it yet...
What are your opinions.

I'm wearing this all the time at the moment!! It's great for London where there is no way it would ever be warm enough to wear a crop top on it's own. Not that I probably would anyway, so it's good for giving extra skin coverage too, so I even wear this to work. I usually wear it with either a body-con or 50s-style waisted dress and ankle boots help to reinforce the 80s element of the crop top style.
I always imagine this with a skin tight navy dress and a light crop top.
if the dress underneath isnt tight, it wont work!

the dress underneath has got to be quite fitted. definitely not completely tight-but close to it. and the cropped top would be best worn as a lace tee to get some contrast. DEFINITELY NOT the same colour. thats just a huge mistake.
