CROP TOP OVER DRESS...

I was walking through Surry Hills the other day and I saw a woman wearing a plain, dark blue dress that went to just above the knee and on top of that she was wearing a white lace crop top singlet with thickish straps. She was also wearing ankle boots and an over the shoulder bag.
Incidentally I saw ANOTHER woman wearing a similar outfit in Bondi.
Do you think this style will catch on? I'm not quite sure abot it yet...
What are your opinions.

It's great for London where there is no way it would ever be warm enough to wear a crop top on it's own. Not that I probably would anyway, so it's good for giving extra skin coverage too, so I even wear this to work. I usually wear it with either a body-con or 50s-style waisted dress and ankle boots help to reinforce the 80s element of the crop top style.
