As I catch my 8.55 train into the city i notice what I notice everyday. And I'm sure alot of people have too...women in their gorgeous suits, dresses, work outfits and sneakers...
Is there a line we do not cross? I know I have a 10 minute walk to my station and another 10 min walk to work. So it limits my choice of shoes. I wouldn't dare wall up my street ( a huge hill) in my heels.

What I'm asking is; are there "stylish" looking walking shoes I can walk in to the station to save my good shoes from getting ruined from morning dew, mud or rain in some situations?
Keeping in mind a pair of white oasics or any jogging looking shoes are out of the question. I prefer to keep my gym outfit and day wear seperate.

    Hey Jessica,
That is so strange you mentioned this, I was wondering the same thing this morning. I am with you 100%.

I work in an office job and see dozens of women everyday with sleek suits and sneakers. My sister is a victim, and claims that she needs comfort while on lunch and on the train. On the other scale everyday i also see women that are obviously wearing towering heels they cannot walk in.

So i have discovered a happy medium, my big heels for the office, and stylish little pointed flats for the train. they are easy to carry as well so don't take up much room.

Together Jessica we can spread the word......say no to the sneaker/suit combo ladies haha

Oh awesome! Yes no to sneakers outside of working out.
I work in a salon so I'm on my feet for part of the day and walking home in heels is the last thing on my mind. I just went and bought cute little canvess slip ons from sportsgirl. They are comfy and very affordable and I won't panic to much if they get ruined. :-)

Hmm, I do wear my trainers on my way to work, but in my defence it is because I can then walk to work, instead of catching the bus, which is usually about 40 minutes. It gives my metabolism that morning boost so I can eat whatever I want for the rest of the day and have so much more energy!
I'm happy to do it because I have reached that point in my life where I don't care what people think. Plus I'm a Podiatrist and know exactly what walking in bad shoes does to your feet!

I think the canvas slip-ons is a good idea, though.
