after trying everything ... EVERYTHING to get rid of those nasty things..
i came across this recipe in a make up forum:

1- go to coles and buy a couple of packets of uncoated asprin tablets, they're about $1.25!!
2- put as many tablets as you need into a zip lock bag
3- get something big and heavy like a hammer and smash the tablets into a white powder
4- pour the asprin powder into a small container
5- add JUST A COUPLE*** drops of water
6- mix the water into the powder vigorously until it becomes light and fluffy (almost like hair mouse)
7- pat the mixture onto ur blemishes and go to sleep.

this literally works over night, i don't recommend on doing this EVERY night because asprin in heavy amounts isn't good for your body. i do my face twice a week and it's in perfect condition.

when the asprin dries up it becomes a little bit flaky, and might rub off onto ur pillow in ur sleep so maybe put a couple of bandaids or something over the spots with the most asprin on it.

Talking about skin, I was wondering if you could tell me how to get rid of dark circles under my eyes. i get plenty of sleep but they are always there. I also wear concealer. But it doesn't work.

Hey Honeymagazine. I also had really bad bags...and what I do now is put some spoons in the freezer and then in the morning or just before i go out, I take them out and hold them on the skin just below my eyes. It can hurt a bit because it's so cold :S But it works definately makes them less puffy :D
And for darkness i use tea bags and just let them sit on my eyes for about 15 mins.
Do you drink a lot of water? Dark circles can also be a sign of dehydration.
I used to try concealer for dark circles but I always found it just gave it a greyish tinge and made it more obvious! I now prefer to put moisturiser on and then pat some compressed powder underneath. It just makes it that little bit better without making it stand out like i found concealer did.
Gosh this was quite long wasn't it :)
    Good luck, x
