Birthday Gift Ideas + Cake!!

I need some ideas and fast!!!

Next week is my Manager's 50th Birthday and I am trying to think of a gift!!

She had a really HORRIBLE year last year and I want to help make this one a bit more joyful for her!!

Our office have all put in for a gift for her and I have seen the perfect Tiffany's necklace to get her from everyone (she has mentioned that she has never had anything from there!!) I was originally going to get her something from there but it's nowhere near as nice as this one which I couldn't afford on my own :(

So now I need to think of something else to get her.... I am wanting to spend around 100 ish and there is another person in the office who wants to get her something separately as well and said that she would like to go in with me (I am not exactly sure if this is what I want to do but depending on the present we will just see)

Soooo.... Sportsgirlers... I am looking for gift ideas ranging upto approx $200 and probably not things like spas etc or things for two (she is single and I really want this just to be about her!!)

I know I am being very fussy but if anyone has any ideas that would be great !!!!!

Additionally I am thinking that I will probably get Mr Bella to make a cake (used to be a baker) however if anyone has any amazing places to get cakes that are not too expensive in Melb or alternatively good recipes for cakes it would be great...

We always have the same problem at my work, i work with much older ladies. If she is trendy you could get her a nice bag from mimco, they have some pretty big sales at the moment. We got one for a colleagues 45th and she has used it everyday. Also i love getting magazine subscriptions for my birthday because im so picky.
Like mischrisy said a treatment package from Endota or something is always nice.

Whatever you guys get her she will love, it sounds like you guys are all really sweet and it's the thought that counts.
Oh and you can get really big Mrs Fields personalised birthday cookies which are really cool haha. I love them!! Or even all the little cupcake boutiques around Melbourne.

It's really lovely that you are so considerate and seem to know her really well (and are willing to spend so much on a work colleague)! She must be a great manager!

So from me I have gotten her a Tiffany Necklace which is super cute!!

And from the firm we are getting her a digital camera.

I have been to Sparty's and picked up balloons, streamers and the likes, and the BF and I did a practice run of making her a Birthday cake last night, and it went quite well !! (he is a talented little cookie)

EzzaBezza, great idea with the cookie, actually I got one for my birthday last year, it was amazing, but unfortunately I am not going to be able to get to a shop in time on the Wednesday to pick it up....

She is so lovely we get on really well, and you would never ever be able to tell that there is a 28 year age gap between us (or that she is turning 50, she looks amazing)!!!
