If your talking about quitting your job, It's definately best to have another job secured before you quit.

Atleast the current job, no matter how much you might not like it - it will benefit you, experience-wise.Obviously theres a lot of unemployment going on right now, so you might find if you give up this job it could be a regrettable decision as you may not be able to get another for a while. Consider yourself lucky your one of the few of us out there with a job to go to.

Anyway, if your talking about the clothes (I don't fully understand your question, it was a bit non-specific) if it's compulsary to wear them, and you don't like them.. well that sucks, but I suppose you can pull together the best of the store's stock that you can find and put it together with some accessories from shops you DO like, and make a cute outfit. Nothing is impossible, you just have to be creative!

Anyway, to sum up.. don't quit your job because of a fact like that, although it might sound like a good idea now, when your 2 weeks down the new found road of unemployment, i guarantee you'll be regretting your decision if the prospect of a new job isnt on the horizon. Your best bet is to get applying now, if you manage to get a better job, take it.

I don't know it, is it new?
I wouldn't worry too much - I used to work in a Birkenstock shop, which some people consider to be pretty daggy-looking, but I found I just had to be creative, and selective, in what shoes I chose to wear from the range and how I styled them, and I ended up really loving the looks I put together!
It is still valuable experience which you could use to get a better job one day.

I worked in fashion retail for a few years & i had to wear current in stock clothes. I hated it as half my pay went on buying clothes that i didnt always love. Even when i got the clothes at 50% off it still burnt a massive hole in my wallet. I ended up buying basic singlets/tees and just mixing it up with accessories.

    Thankyou!

I've applied for Harbour Town Perth, their looking for Casuals (or Part time?), though I'm quite sure they haven't actually opened up yet. I did go down there today, but I didn't see Factorie. Then again I was in a bit of a rush :P

Not sure if the website lists when they open; but i'd imagine they'd be conducting interviews in the near future.. hopefully i get short listed! :D
