Hey ladies,

Recently I have been reading about Andy Warhol after buying a painting of his. And I gotta say. He is one COOL dude. What with The Factory where there was always something happening. Andy Warhold collected a crowd of drag queens, socialites, drug addicts, musicians, and free-thinkers to keep the artistic feeling flowing. Some of his Superstars included Ultra Violet, Edie Sedgwick and Candy Darling.

I suggest you all read about him. You will definately be inspired, impressed and left wanting to now more (like me) :)

Have you seen Factory Girl yet? Good movie, but you might not like him so much :-P

I've been to see Pop Art at the Tate Modern recently which features him heavily, and there is no denying his creative mind was light years ahead of the rest of the art world, and he has changed things forever, not just art-wise, but our entire popular culture.

How on Earth did you get to buy a Warhol???

Ohhhh...no but my aim next year is to watch every single one of his movies :)
I may have to wait till my parents are out bahahaha.

I think he was a GENIUS!!!!

Have you read about them yet?

I recently read about brigid BErlin. She was one of Warhol's main Superstars for a while. She got the nickname Brigid Polk because she'd poke a whole syringe of speed through her jeans into her thigh O.o

I TRIED to watch Factory Girl once and got most of the way through and just couldn't watch any more... whilst I think he is intriguing and his art is inspired I found this movie to be so boring and unejoyable (not to deter you, which I am sure that I won't) so not sure about my real love of him, but it is great that you have something that you like so much :)
