Affordable Gossip Girl glam

Being a MASSIVE gossip girl fan, i was slightly intrigued to hear that a new range is coming to Big W called Gossip Girl the tv series, collections by Kai Aiyub. Although it's only inspired by the show, and the items don't really scream Blair or Serena... I think there are a few cute pieces thrown in there.

i could see for gossip girl dark silky blue long sleeve dress with gold or silver accessories high light against the dress with black heels and black clutch. would look more gossip girl material.

I love the fact that they have tried to do something surrounding these fashions with how much everyone is in love with the fashions but I am not sure the 1) all of the fashion pieces really look that GGish and 2) the quality of the materials, I understand that it's obviously priced really low but even still I am not sure how they would look. There is a purple and green floral skirt that is also coming out and that looks pretty cute I think that you would have to see it all in real life and for the prices probably worth a look !!

I will check it out anyways and keep you all posted. First Peter Morrissey at Big W now this....they are really trying to step it up!

Big W is really not the kind of place I would expect to see designer collaborations, and I would be very concerned about the quality of any of this stuff.
There are some cute pieces, but to echo everyone else, they really don't look like Gossip Girl to me. At all.

If only they had realised that cheap immitation leather looks like, well, cheap immitation leather and chosen fabrics that are a bit more forgiving.
Oh well, its BW so my expectations really weren't that high to begin with.

Thought i would update you all, i popped in to check out the range. They have clothes, shoes, belts, bags and jewellery. I love the show to tears and all the clothes the girls seem to wear. I do not mean to sound bitchy but the clothes all screamed Big W not GG at all. I walked away with a dress and my sister a little studded bag. I think your spot on Bella some Blair style headbands would have been great, even some Blazers or something.
On another note season three starts up in a bit over a week...yay!!
