Camping festivals. Yay or nay?

All my friends are trying to convince me we should go to Glastonbury next year but I just don't think I can come to terms with the camping and the general grossness.
As a bunch of fashion-conscious girls not unlike myself, how do you guys feel about these kind of festivals?
Any tips for survival?

( Hand sanitiser!! mus tbring ) similar situation .. goes quick but i guess bring shoes that cover ur feet and nothing to classy or expensive and hair spray well it makes ur hair smell nice when ur out camping not sure its all good for the trees but all well

Festivals can be so much fun and Glastonbury looks like it would be amazing. My main tips are take wipes, because showers can be very hard to come by. Dry shampoo, my hair always seems to get greasy and like bdeer said it makes it smell pretty.
Sunscreen, plenty of water....mainly if your drinking in the sun. I went to Pyramid Rock last year so many people fainted because of the heat.
Style wise i always like to see what Kate Moss and Daisy Lowe are wearing at the time. Hope you have a blast...I seriously think you should go :)
