So quite a few of us have travelled and we've seen some amazing places. But where did you go and what did you see? What was your favourite place?

I've been on a school trip to England and France and a dancing trip to Hong Kong.

England - loved walking around London, the business of it all.
France - LOVED the Eiffel Tower, how it sparkles at night. Had a view of it from my hotel window. And how people sell little eiffel tower keyrings on the streets.
Hong Kong - was so incredibly humid there but felt like a star dancing at disneyland, and they have great tasting pineapple :)

I've been around a bit. Paris is probably my fave so far. It's just Paris! You know? There's no way to elaborate, you just have to go there.
Also really love Bangkok. I'm a city girl at heart, don't really travel to see scenery or nature. Need hustle and bustle!

Kuala Lumpur - a dirtier, dangerous version of Singapore.
East Malaysia/Brunei - Beautiful. Did the cliched tourist thing of snorkeling off the islands of Borneo, and it was amazing. Sutera Harbour is a must stay if you go to Kota Kinabalu, and Mount Kinabalu is a must climb!
Singapore - practically MADE for tourists. Safe, fun, amazing shopping, everything you could ever want, except local culture.
Beijing - Great for people who are interested in art and culture, like me. The locals blew me away with their hospitality and were not at all what I had expected.
Shanghai - Nothing like Beijing. Might as well be a different country! Try riding a motorised rickshaw and you'll know what it feels like to have your life flash before your eyes.
    LA/Hollywood - SO overrated.
Denver - It's okay. Check out the famous ski fields just north of Denver; that's where the action is. The Park Hyatt there is fantastic and has free hot chocolate and an ice skating rink 24/7!
London - Wish I had spent more time there. It felt as if I were on a Monopoly board! Look, Piccadilly! Leicester Square!
Dublin/Ireland - They weren't joking about the rain; it really is the emerald isle.

Favourite?? So hard to pick...but probably China. The culture is just staggering and so hard to grasp because it isn't like anything I've ever encountered before...plus, check out this photo:

Yes, those are cockroach kebabs in the background. I'm sure you can guess the rest. They had crickets, too.

Beijing sounds great! I've always wanted to go to Mauritius, it looks so nice.

Tononto, Canada: So amazingly beautiful and clean
England: I love this country! London and Bath are my favourite places, Brighton is good for touristy places. Oxford is nice, but unbelievably packed with tourists.
France: Paris was nice and is definitely a must see but I also recommend seeing Nice and my favourite little town of Avignon.
Italy: I loved Santa Margherita, Assisi and Venice. They're beautiful towns! Milan has some great shops but I didn't find the people particularly friendly. Rome is great for the touristy stuff
Bangkok wasn't the nicest of places from the brief time I spent there. Breathing was difficult because of the humidity and pollution, but the people are amazingly nice.

Closer to home, I adore the scenery of Tasmania!

From what people have told me, I hope I don't ever have to go to Vietnam or Thailand. I've heard so many reports of little girls being abused by Australians over there; it's just horrifying. I think I would lose it and go smack the men in the face if I saw it happening.
