Handbag storage?

jewljulia: said this on Tuesday 04 August 2009, 01:08 PM; I have A LOT of handbags. At the moment my favourite ones hang from my door handle and various others are stashed in boxes around my room. But I have too many favourites at the moment so I can’t actually close my door. I’d love to be able to display them or at least keep them in a place where I can see them but I’m lacking in room. Do any other handbag lovers out there have any storage ideas?

girl_interrupted: said this on Tuesday 04 August 2009, 04:41 PM; I have a bunch of hooks on the end of my bookshelves that I hang all my bags on. I think about 12 in total, they came from Ikea and I can fit a few bags on each one.
If I'm putting them in more long-term storage, I hang them in my wardrobe, in the cloth bags they came in to stop them getting dusty.

I wish I had a walk in wardrobe, then the problem would be easily solved :)
