hey i was just wondering what concerts y'all have attended and which ones you have liked...that way people will know what they are if for if they attend any of these shows in the future.
i'll start the list:
Hilary duff 2004 (amazing...except for scott cain)
Hilary duff 2005 (even better than before!.opening act SUCKED! town hall steps...anyone?)
Hilary duff 2008 (wow the girl can dance!...ricki lee really needed to work on her stage technique)
Kids chioce awards 2008 (if that counts at all...god short stack sucked...no offence i think their music was to loud it was a shame as i was looking forward to them)
Melb fashion week (if that counts at all!)
Yeah nah I've been to a lot...I do a lot of the local scene gigs as well. But a couple of my favourite would have to be:
Switchfoot 2008 in KL
Brooke Fraser 2008
Kaiser Chiefs and Razorlight this year
My favourite gig ever has to be Spoon at the Hopetoun in Surry Hills. Secret gig, not a huge crowd, standing between the stage & the bar. Years ago.
And Radiohead's massive stage show in Victoria Park in London last year. Amazing.
Coco, I thought Kaisers were pretty good when I saw them, hmm, maybe 2 years ago. High energy.
Yeah they deserve a lot more attention than they get. Although I did notice that 'The Underdog' of Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga (wow that was hard to type) was on the 17 Again soundtrack.
only one i've been to, but i loved it.
wish i can go taste of chaos but that would be crazy.
hoping PARAMORE would come back to Aust. and of course RJA.
Maroon 5 (2008)
Matchbox 20 (2008)
Michael Buble (2008)
So you think you can dance - the tour (2008) (If that counts..)
Delta Goodrem (2009)
Pussycat Dolls/ Lady Gaga (2009)
Pink (2009)
Still to see...
Pink (again)
Beyonce
Britney Spears (three times LOL)
And while not a concert, I'll also add that I've seen the theatre show Wicked three times! :)
Out of those concerts I've been too...the best was without a doubt Justin Timberlake...I lost my voice from yelling so hard!! LOL. Pink and Michael Buble are up there too :)
The worst would have to be Missy Higgins...I was so bored during her concert, I spent most of the time playing tetris on my phone. I would have left early but my mum had paid for our tickets and it was the first concert she had ever been to, I didn't want to ruin it for her (turns out she was bored too).
