    I love Chapel St.
Chap and I have had an 'on/off' relationship since I first learnt to shop :)
Yes, it's a bit mainstream and definitely had a bit of pretentiousness about it, but it does have a great mix of shops from boutique right down to op shops. I'm loving all the new bars that are popping up too.
    It really sets the standard.

Chapel St is good but too expensive sometimes, I like Brunswick St or Smith St in Melbourne.

My neighbourhood, hmm probably not unless you count the corner shop. There is a st vinnies and a vintage shop i've never checked out. Maybe i should...

Well apart from the obvious Sydney ones like Paddington (my faves are Glenmore Road & William Street), Surry Hills has been improving steadily over the past few years. It always had vintage shops, but now has some good independent designer boutiques too. Plus, it has great fabric stores for when I feel like sewing my own creations!
If you want to make a whole day of it, it has the best restaurants for dinner, some cool bars & the Hopetoun for live music too! Ooo and Bourke Street Bakery!

I love Bridge Rd. You could spend all day shopping to your heart’s content and the best part is you’re guaranteed to leave the shopping strip with your hands full! Don’t worry, you won’t feel guilty cos’ all items are at an affordable price plus there are fab cafes if you have a minute to grab lunch :)

about 2 min drive from me, there's a street in Perth that has really lovely boutique shops which sometimes i think are the best, unique clothing/styles. The people who work/own the shops are also very friendly, and across from there is a nice park with a creek, and has plenty of shops to grab lunch etc etc.

There's beautiful ones on oxford st in Leederville, also um the ones locally i was talking about were in Joondalup. I also know of some on Murray st in the heart of Perth but on the other side to where all the main shops are, its kinda like down a laneway.

Joondalup. **** that's far. It takes like 45 mins to get there for me.
Mostly shop in the city though....
North of the river has better shops!
