Ok - I'm starting to freak out a little:
Every time I wash my face, it feels all dry and tight and I get these tiny wrinkles on my forehead.
I know skin gets drier in winter, but this has never happened to me before, as I'm more of the oily variety.
Is anyone else having this prob?
    I need a decent remedy quick-smart!

Glad to help out with this one.

Def winter has a contribution to it, as skin gets tighter in winter.
Drink plenty of water helps... also keep caffeine to a minimum, coffee drys up your skin so much that you need 4 cups of water to rehydrate the skin.

Also try gentle exfoliation on the area, it refreshes new skin cells.
If you have any Aloe Vera gels they are great, or hydrating creams.
When you wash your face or come out after a shower, moisturizing your skin is essential

If the problem still persists or its getting worse, maybe see a doctor or a beauty specialist?

oh I thought it was just because I was getting older...having exactly the same dilemma as sweetsugar. anyone recommend a good eye cream? I thought only my mum used this stuff but more and more of my friends are into it now...it's what we've termed 'wrinkle-anoia' stupid paranoia about getting wrinkles. how vain we are! seriously, there are people starving in the world, it annoys me that I even worry about this!

I know, there is actually a La Prairie cream that costs $1500!! Definately got your priorities wonky if you're paying that much for something that may not even work!

thanks jessika for ur advice. Ur prob right about the coffee - in winter I seem to drink it by the bucket-load!

And I totally agree about the paranoia! So many of my 20-something friends use wrinkle cream. I haven't
started that yet, as I read somewhere that if you use it too early, you become immune to it later on (when you
really need it, lol). And seriously - what's wrong with a few wrinkles anyway. I'm never going to have 'work-done'.
I think it's ridiculous that people are so obsessed with perfection. As melbstyle mentioned - there's pleanty more
    BIGGER problems in the World!

Don’t forget to moisturise. Skin gets thirsty too :)

I know lots of people stop or neglect their skincare routine during winter but that’s the opposite of what you should be doing. The cold and artificially heating really takes it’s toll on your skin so it’s important to keep exfoliating and moisturising just like you would if it was summer. Even though in winter it’s rarer for people to see your skin I like to keep mine nice because I hate the feeling of dry skin. And I dance so I shave my legs all though winter. The one thing I do neglect is my skin tone. I’ve gotten so sun in months and I can’t be bothered fake tanning regularly so my legs are a scary pale colour. I guess you can’t have every thing.

Yes, I am agreed with sweet123, we should try to use oily creams so that there is no rashes and skin dry problems. I have also visited this site for many products regarding my face skin problem:

My mum always told me you should wear sunscreen even in Winter. But I find it leaves my skin greasy. What do you guys think? Any suggestions for non-greasy sunscreen?
