Op Shops can sometimes be a great place to pick up a bargain!
Earlier this year i picked up some mollini shoes that i absolutely adore for only 8 bucks!
A great 50s style red & white striped dress.
Awesome 80s Lee jeans - high waisted & super tight.
A RM Galaxy-esque dress.
All from this great store in Chippendale - Salisbury Street, I think?
probably two thirds of my wardrobe is thrifted, and i love it.
easiest thing at the moment: buy some cheap 2nd hand jeans with an interesting wash and good fit at the waist and hack until your heart's content! if you hack a little TOO much, what have you lost... $4?
i can never pass up sparkly jumpers, nanna cardies, shoes, tea dresses and blouses either.
the best op shops are when you are travelling! i loved shopping in the Canadian 'thrift' stores...an absolute minefield of classic college tees and vintage stuff you'd never see back here. so much fun :)
There is the most amazing store in Prague. It specialises in Art Deco pieces & I got the most amazing black dress with an angular collar & full skirt. Sooo many other things I wanted, but it hurts to shop in Europe with Aussie dollars :-( even if it is second-hand!
@Sportsgirl of course i will link you after the fashion show. until then feel free to check out the site http://t.co/SO70JVhJ :) xo 23 hours, 47 minutes by _EDLT_
