No I’ve never been there but I read an article which I think was in the M magazine that comes in the age? Anyway it was basically going on about how depressing it is. So I’m really un motivated to go there. It would take some pretty enthusiastic people to change my mind.

i work at the harbour town in perth... theres some TRUE discount stores, and some 'oh theres a rack at the back of sale stuff, the rest is normal price' stuff.

iv'e been there and i quite like it. There are some not that great shops but some are really nice...i got a Grab top for 15 bucks! It's true thats its a tad on the ghost town side but i just think its better than massive crowds anyway. Its well worth a look :)
