Art We Love: Vegan Taxidermy by Aimee Baldwin

Self-taught sculptor Aimee Baldwin creates incredibly beautiful birds from crepe paper and other manmade materials and it has us completely blown away.

The "vegan taxidermy" pieces are both lifesize and lifelike - designed to "connect people with the natural world" and contrast against a "cheap and now" culture. Each bird is entirely handcrafted and as a result, no two are ever the same.

We think they are totally enchanting! Here are a few of our favourites:
