Canadian electro-rockers Metric are back with their unique brand of soaring stadium indie pop on their latest album "Synthetica".

After the worldwide success of 2009's "Fantasies", the band, lead by frontwoman Emily Haines, guitarist James Shaw, bassist Joshua Winstead and drummer Joules Scott Key, have not wasted a single minute, getting straight to work recording their followup album the day after their last performance on the "Fantasies" tour.

Inspired by their sonic career so far, the band describe "Synthetica" as "futuristic and synthesized, yet also organic", using vintage instruments and classic rock elements to create a stadium-ready forward-thinking sound for the future.
