My bag has items totalling $

Sometimes the smallest things can mean the most. We caught up with the gorgeous graphic designer/illustrator Georgia Perry who showed us some of her favourite belongings and why they're special to her.
The colour-obsessed Georgia is 26, lives in Sydney and loves her job! "It means I get to be myself everyday. Being creative is just what I do, and actually getting paid to do it is pretty amazing!"
She describes her personal style as being intertwined with her art. "I love colour, structure, bold & graphic prints...nothing too flouncy or girly - which definitely reflects in my art as well. I guess I like to keep life cohesive! Also: lipstick. Lots of lipstick."
When she's not busy designing or illustrating up a storm she holds art workshops for kids, which she says is "refreshing and rewarding".
Here she shares her fave personal belongings with us:

Hot Dog Card - "My amazing friend, Joanna made me this hotdog card once when I was sad. There is the most heartfelt message on the back, and I love keeping it around to remind myself that everything will be OK no matter what."

Pens - "This is probably one twentieth of my marker collection! I'm an illustrator so having lots of tools available all the time is pretty important. It's kind of become an obsession though. I simply can't pass the Crayola aisle in K-Mart without buying something."

Vintage scarf collection - "I love vintage silk scarves and when I'm travelling, I always try and collect one from every place I visit. I have so many, but they are such a versatile thing to have in one's wardrobe!"

Otami embroidery (and my Good Times banner snuck in) - "I am obsessed with colour, so this Otami embroidery from Mexico takes pride of place on my mantelpiece. The workmanship is so insane. I love looking at it closer everyday. The gold banner also reminds me to never take anything too seriously - we're here for a good time, not a long time!"

My sister - "I just love this battered photo of my sister and I. That's me on the left. Even though she is younger than me, that's always kind of been our dynamic. Sisters are so important and special and I love her. "
Stay tuned to the blog as we catch up with more inspirational ladies about their favourite things.
