Day 2 at Milan Fashion Week includes the Max Mara, Fendi and Prada shows - and our guest blogger Jason Lloyd Evans is in the field shooting all of the action that goes on behind the scenes.
DAY 2
My favourite taxi drivers in the world are the Italians (apart from the ones who drive you in circles to increase the fare). My Day 2 morning started with a Harry Connick Jr lookalike blasting out 'Disco Inferno' on the way to Max Mara. The hair and make up for the show was themed "beachy surfer girl". The hair was sprayed and twisted, and then irons fixed the look, while the make up was a tanned complexion with a strong brow. The utterly brilliant Tom Pecheux did the make up look and the equally brilliant Luigi Moreno worked the dreds...

Then it was onto Fendi where there was a very chilled atmosphere with the models lazing about outside in the sunshine.

The show line-up:

Some looks from the show. At Fendi it was all about the accessories!

Over at The Metropol, were these vans delivering the Dolce & Gabbana clothes?

Some street style moments outside after the Prada show.

And Sportsgirl's London Fashion Week guest blogger, Susie Bubble:

Even the security are dressed in Prada + the security gate @ the back is even a stylish tone of grey.

Models hanging around pre-show at Prada. The hair look gets a thumbs up from Lyndsey Wixon!

Daphne (a hot new model in her 3rd season, and who has already been the campaign girl for Givenchy) is just contemplating her new haircut. They chopped a few inches off her hair for the show.

Once they're ready for the show, the models check out each other's look.

The hair and makeup team got to watch the show backstage as the thoughtful team at Prada set up a big screen TV backstage especially for them.

Besides the taxi drivers the other thing Italians do better than anyone else is that when you buy a drink; the bar has snacks, pasta, pizza slices, etc. that come complimentary with a beer! How good is that? It's the Italian way! Here is my sidekick James, enjoying the end of a long day!

More from Milan coming right up!
