Sportsgirl Guest Blogger Alex headed to the Californian desert to bring you the latest on all of the music and fashion from Coachella Music & Arts Festival. Check out her wrap up of her last day at Coachella (Kanye front row pics included!)
You know how I said it was hot yesterday? That was nothing. Today was a 37C day with not a breath of wind. We biked our way over to the festival a little earlier today (midday…bad idea) to see Plan B's set. The UK singer/rapper still managed to get a clearly exhausted crowd on their feet with his contagious energy that ended with a very sweaty looking mosh pit.

Thankfully, it was a lot cooler when The National started, which was the set I was most excited about, so I weaseled my way right up to the front for what I can only describe as the musical experience of my life.

The last day seemed to be less about fashion more just about coping with the heat. Hand fans became the unlikely must-have accessory teamed with flowing printed fabrics that were light enough to keep you cool. Cross body satchel bags were bursting with bottles of water and shoes were sometimes on, but mostly off. The only thing the girls seemed to still be bothered with on the last day were their jewels, bangles were still piled high up arms and eclectic necklaces swayed around necks.

After catching The Strokes we took our lives into our hands and decided to head up the front for Kanye West. After the destruction of a hat (mine), a couple of crumpled toes (mine again) and the complete and utter loss of personal space (everyone) we got into a very good possie for the headlining act. As the set began you quickly realised, as Kanye rose from the crown on a crane, that this was going to be huge.
So it's all over! My Coachella weekend flew by and now I'm heading to LA with a sore and a little bit sunburnt body and some seriously incredible experiences.
