We heart wikifashion!
We think there’s nothing more stylish than a well-informed fashionista! If you want to do your style homework and have a load of fun, head on over to wikifashion: a web-based encyclopedia of all things fashion where you’re the contributor!
Wikifashion is the creation of two Brissy locals, Madeline Veenstra (the fashion lover) and Coen Hyde (the techie) – and just like it sounds, has all the features of community-generated web encyclopedia Wikipedia, but created for and by the fashion community!
Project Co-ordinator Madeline says that she 'saw a need on the internet for a space where the fashion-obsessed could compile and look for anything style related- from accessories, haute couture to eyeshadows'.
Fashion-obsessed? That’s us! Anyone can edit and update pages, upload personal pics alongside lookbook images, and contribute in their area of expertise. Wikifashion is now on the lookout for fellow style lovers to contribute to the fashion free-for-all. Expert on buttons? Fangirl of Chanel? Marc Jacobs freak? Or maybe just a Sportsgirl and want to contribute your own pics to our page? Hop along to wikifashion.com and do your part. It’s a fashion love in!
