Brisbane and Sydney have been the only ones to enjoy the all-out crafty, indie design spectacular that is The Finders Keepers markets - but now Melbourne is set to get in on the action too! I think a "squee!" is in order!

In case you're not familiar with the Finders Keepers, they're an bi-annual art and design market that focuses on local, emerging artists, designers and musos, bringing new contemporary design goodness to the forefront in Australia. It all began in '08 when the creators “found a need to bridge the gap between the local weekly style markets and expensive design trade fairs and exhibitions", and has taken off from being held solely in Sydney, to Brisbane, and now, Melbourne!

Melbourne is set to get its fair share of Finders Keepers this October, and the FK team are currently on the lookout for stallholders - so if you're an emerging designer, artist or crafty type, apply for a stall over here.

The two-day markets also feature live local music for sweet tunes while you swoon over the goodies. Lovingly recommended by Sportsgirl x
