We can’t think of a better shopping partner than style icon / general girl crush Alexa Chung – so we were excited to hear about a new TV show where Alexa spills her vintage shopping secrets!

Yup, “Thirft America” is the latest fashion-related TV project for Miss Chung – the show is set to follow Alexa and Maya Singer (special projects editor for Style.com) as they head off on vintage shopping adventures across the world, in search of treasures to use in various creative ways. The first ep takes place during London Fashion Week, where the fashion duo help jewellery-designer Pamela Love set up a pop-up shop.

Seems like a perfect fit for Alexa – the UK model/presenter’s much loved high-low style has seen her achieve icon status to rival fellow Brit Kate Moss, and is a regular on the pages of UK Vogue (where she’s also a contributing editor), Elle and Harper’s Bazaar.

The show is scheduled to start screening next US summer (June-ish) and we for one can’t wait to see how Alexa works her shopping and styling magic! Stay tuned.
