It's no secret we're a bit in love with the Uniform Project - taking one dress and loads of outfit creativity, and using it to raise funds for underprivileged kids! Mastermind Sheena Matheiken and team are back with a brand new project devoted to the worthy cause.
The original idea was simple: wear the same LBD every day for a year and blog about it to raise awareness and money for the Akanksha Foundation, who help underprivileged kids in India attend school. Sheena used only sustainable, donated or vintage accessories to re-invent her look every day – and did a seriously amazing job!
The Uniform Project may be over but it's just the start of their mission: the original LBD design is now for sale through the site, as well as the pattern if you want to get into a bit of DIY action - with profits going over the Foundation. And the UP lovelies have just launched their newest project: it's called the 'Pilot Series', here's the idea in drawing form:

It's pretty much a condensed version of the original Uniform Project, with 12 creative fashionistas raising money for a cause that's close to their heart, choosing their own staple LBD and styling it up every day for a month. Sheena also hints that some "big names" in the ethical design industry will be helping to create the ideal LBD's used in the challenge, which will also be for sale. We can't wait to see who takes on the project and the creative outfits they come up with!
The first 'Pilot' is being launched on August 1 over at http://theuniformprojectblog.com/annoucements/year-2-launch
