Ever dreamed of being a stylist? A new school for fashion stylists is opening in London this September – and in even better news, offers online classes for aspiring Aussie super stylists!
From celebs like Rachel Zoe to behind-the-scenes geniuses the likes of Grace Coddington, stylists have one of the most important (and coveted!) jobs in the fashion industry. Dream job much? Yep – which makes it a competitive field to get into.
That’s where the London College of Style comes in. Offering a dream short course for stylists, the LCS gives wannabe super stylists everything you need to know to get your stylishly-clad foot in the door. The School has some pretty impressive industry leaders at the helm – celeb fashion stylist Wendy Elsmore and model/ fashion expert Kate Smith have over 15 years of experience and have worked with loads of seriously amazing fash mags, celebrities, and brands.
From catwalk shows, editorial shoots, red carpet events, film and TV, and ad campaigns, the LCS covers all main areas of styling, as well as helping grads to score jobs and find relevant work contacts. At the end of the course, students will have a portfolio piece to show off their talents.
In one more reason we’re confirmed web geeks, the London-based school is offering online courses to international students (aka you guys) as well! the first class starts 25 September, so if you a) are dressing up your cat right now or b) have ever looked at Rachel Zoe’s combos and thought “I could do better than that!”, get clicking and enrol now over at www.londoncollegeofstyle.com.
In the meantime, get inspired by watching la Zoe in action:
