We heart the endless fashion inspiration to be found online, and one of our fave clicks is the DIY styling community Wardrobe Remix – one look at what these style rebels are wearing gives us our daily dose of outfit inspiration!
A Flickr fashion community, Wardrobe Remixers post photos of the outfit they’re rocking that day, with the emphasis on creativity and individuality. Unlike the high fashion of glossies and street style sites like The Sartorialist, Wardrobe Remix is all about showcasing everyday style, with outfits sourced from a combo of designer, vintage and high street pieces.
Creator Tricia Royal says of the idea behind the community: “I believe the best stylists walk the streets, not the photo sets, nor the backstage of the runways. The real style innovators are you and me: real, fashionable people, men and women alike.”
Now clocking 15,000+ members, there’s something about the idea that’s caught on. So whether you’re a fangirl checking out the pics for oodles of inspiration, or are brave enough to point, shoot and post your own styling skills (self-timer/ patient partner at the ready!) what’s not to love?
