In the final instalment of our Homegirls series we catch up with superstar designer and Sportsgirl fave Kym Ellery to find out what she gets up to in her home-town of Sydney. If you can’t find her at any of the recommended hotspots below there’s a good chance she may be putting the final touches on another outstanding collection or collaborating with Sportsgirl (more on this shortly, stay tuned!)

Best place to…

Eat:I do love Italian food so Icebergs and north bondi, Il Bareto in surry hills and a tavola in darlinghurst.

Hang out: China Heights Gallery, friday night exhibition openings kick off any weekend in Sydney.

Coffee:Baffi and Mo, Redfern Street. They do the world's best toast and I mean that with my entire being. I also love Forbes and Burton in Darlinghurst.

Music:The Scare. They are amazing.

Go out/ people watch: For people watching; The Ivy, it's just like Sodom and Gomorrah pre brimstone and fire.

For a good time; Sydney is all about events and parties. The nightlife can be dull but try Ching-a-lings, Oxford Art Factory and The Cricketers for a sick game of pool.

Get in touch with nature:Whale Beach; celui que je préfère!! Pittwater and Rose Bay is also beautiful. There you can hire dinghys and discover isolation.

If someone had only a day to spend in Sydney, what one thing would you absolutely recommend they do/ see/ visit? Whale Beach is divine. NSW Art Gallery and Brett Whiteley's Studio in Surry Hills. There are also some secret little beaches that I love but I'm not giving away all of my secrets!

For those who haven’t visited how would you describe the vibe? relaxed yet totally kicking at the same time.

You could live in any in the world’s fashion capitals but are based in Sydney…what do you like most about the city? The air, the sunshine and most of all, my lambs.

How would you describe Sydney fashion/ style? The fashion direction here is diverse. There is a true eclectic mix going on. I love that we have some amazing local designers, cutting edge high street but also have access to buying international fashion. At the end of the day however, a true sydney sider knows how to rock vintage.Priceless
