Album of the Month: Annie "Don't Stop"
Any of you recall that poptastic tune ‘Chewing Gum’ back in '05? That track and album 'Anniemal' sold over 100,000 albums for Norwegian cool pop poster girl Annie - and she's back with the anticipated follow up!
‘Don’t Stop’ is Annie’s second album, a collection of sublime hooks, blazing pop beats, sing-a-long choruses and some odd, twisted darkness here and there: ‘Don’t Stop’ is the pop sound of now! It’s an album that sounds both instantly catchy and mainstream and underground all at once.
It’s hard to pick a standout track as all are equally appealing in their own right but ‘My Love Is Better’, ‘ Songs Remind Me of You’ ‘ Don’t Stop’ and ‘ I Don’t Like your band’ will all have you tearing it up the d-floor! We love Annie not only for her seamless Scandinavian pop and fashion sense, but for her individuality that echoes all through this album! We highly recommend you snap this one up!
